“Teaching Economics in Arkansas is made more attractive by the professional development provided by ACRE.  These workshops never disappoint— you always leave with fresh ideas and great resources.  The “Trade Game” is a personal favorite. Every year ACRE provides me with free materials to facilitate the game with my classes. My students always stay engaged for the entire lesson!”

About ACRE

The Arkansas Center for Research in Economics (ACRE) is an Arkansas focused research center housed in the College of Business at the University of Central Arkansas. ACRE scholars and policy analysts use academic research and original analysis to educate the public on important issues of public policy in Arkansas.

Through our K12 programs, we work to create learning opportunities for teachers and students to explore how economics works, how economists create & analyze data, and how economics applies to the lives of individuals, groups, and communities.
