Support for Arkansas K–12 Social Studies teachers for virtual and classroom teaching.

Right in Our Own Backyard!

Take a trip with us this summer as we travel around Arkansas, locating sites in our communities that offer educational experiences for Arkansans of all ages. Arkansas is full of parks, museums, and historical sites you can visit for yourself, many that offer educational programming for teachers, students, and families. Each week we will highlight a new location in Arkansas and the programs and activities to be explored there. Do you know of a location we should feature? Contact us and let us know!

our mission

Support for Arkansas K–12 Teachers

This blog is a resource for K–12 social studies teachers in Arkansas who are looking for interdisciplinary lessons, readings, activities, and more. It provides a space for teachers to receive materials and resources from fellow teachers and education partners around the state. It also creates opportunities for Arkansas educators to communicate and collaborate on best practices.

Partner Organizations

This blog is managed by the Arkansas Center for Research in Economics in partnership with Economics Arkansas and accepts content submissions from any Arkansas teacher or education partner.
